THE UNIVERSITY SWIMMING POOL:
The University Swimming Pool, constructed in 1979, was renovated in 2016. It is a five-lane, short course indoor-type pool with a maximum depth of 10 feet. The pool is currently recognized as a short course pool configuration by the FINA (International Swimming Federation). FINA is the international governing body of swimming, diving, water polo, synchronized swimming and open water swimming.
THE TRACK AND FIELD OVAL
The Track and Field Oval with a total area of 10.000 sq. m., includes a 300 m.-track and the smallest
dimensions allowed for a soccer field. The goal posts for the soccer field are semi-permanent, which allows the space to be used for outdoor activities and programs, whereas the entire track is covered in rubber that is ideal for running and staging other athletic events.
